Both players Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius and Michał “MOLSI” Łącki have today announced that they were benched from their respective team Vodafone Giants. These two announcements come after the disappointing result the team had in the Open Qualifier of VCT Stage 3 in which they fell short to advance to the Closed Qualifier of Challengers 1 after losing against Rix.GG Thunder in the qualifier match.

Boo has been with the team since when Vodafone Giants had signed Orgless back in January after the roster had made good shows during First Strike back in December 2020. Focusing on the smokes role, Boo has mainly played Omen and Brimstone during VCT Stage 3 but also picked Sage and Viper. During 2021, Boo boosts a rating of 1.10 and also 213 ACS and a 1.17 K/D.

On the other hand, MOLSI had joined the team as a replacement of pipsoN back in mid-May. In a shorter span than his teammate, MOLSI focused mainly on the Sova role and currently boosts a 1.18 Rating with 236 ACS and 1.26 K/D. Apart from the disappointing result in VCT last weekend, both players were part of the team that finished 3rd-4th in the LVP Rising Series #2 – Main Event. The team lost to the winner of the event, Acend, in the semi-finals with a 2-0 score. Both players are looking for other options while being benched with Vodafone Giants.

With Vodafone Giants not announcing any replacements yet, the current roster is:

Johan “Meddo” Lundborg
Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas
Adolfo “Fit1nho” Gallego

Michał “MOLSI” Łącki (benched)
Ričardas “Boo” Lukaševičius (benched)
