Oxygen Esports is a prominent North American organization, with teams competing in Rainbow 6 Siege, Rocket League, Valorant, Hearthstone, Fortnite, and Magic: The Gathering Arena. Their Rainbow 6 roster was officially classified as a Tier 3 team, and found success in several tournaments. They decided to finally dive into VALORANT, and they are picking up no other than the all-Turkish looking4org roster, with one exception. This acquisition marks the first North American organization signing a European roster.
Oxygen Esports picked up Erim “mavera” Sasal, Mehmet “Turko” Özen, Erdem “Toronto” Sogukpinar, Göktuğ “XiSTOU” Canciğer, and Muhammed “m1tez” Tezcan. The latter is the only one outside of looking4org’s original roster, replacing Melih “pAura” Karaduran. They found success in several tournaments so far, having won both the CLUTCH BATTLES Grand Tournament and the D2 Esports Europe 1k. They finished 3rd in the Logitech G Beyond Tournament, but exited the Mandatory.GG Cup early, finishing between 65th and 128th.
The only new face to the roster is Muhammed “m1tez” Tezcan, who competed with breadHUNTERS and Team Turkey for the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown – EU #2. During his tenure with breadHUNTERS, he finished 5th-8th in the The Vitality European Open , 17th-32th in the Rise of Titans, and 33th-64th in the Mandatory.GG Cup.
It is a versatile and promising VALORANT roster to say the least, and it will be incredibly exciting seeing what m1tez adds to the team. What do you think of Oxygen Esports’ VALORANT roster? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
